According to carsurvey, the wter pump: It was the original, and went after 126,000 miles. You simply cannot ask for more out of a piece of machinery. My windshield washer fluid pump has gone out, and I suspect that has more to do with it being manhandled when fixing the water pump than anything else. It's only going to be $14.00 to replace anyways.
I'm
beginning to have an odd problem with the transmission selector not
going into park. Instead, it goes to reverse, and I have to double check
and really push to the farthest end to make sure it is indeed in park. This car is smooth and very utilitarian. No, it's not flashy, and no,
it's not quick off the line. But it starts when I turn the key, and I'm
pretty sure that as long as I do the upkeep, it'll keep running.
I
don't need anything more than this. However, I do wish I got better gas
mileage. I think I'm getting about 21-ish, and I'm wondering if I need
to get some sensors replaced to get that up?
